Self-Betrayal

I resist the longing to reveal

who I truly am

what I truly believe

for fear that

I will be challenged

I will have to defend

Not that I can’t

Not that I wouldn’t

but that I don’t like how I feel when I do.

To live out of Spirit

is to live in freedom from false-self

and embrace freedom of True-Self

I must not betray mySelf

Resist
